9 One Life Transportation is a non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) provider — the kind of business that lives or dies on two things running smoothly at once: getting patients to appointments, and getting paid for it. SFS Business Management is their outsourced partner for both sides of that equation.
On the operations side, we support the partnership-building and coordination a NEMT business depends on — insurance and broker relationships, and trip scheduling. On the billing side, we manage their medical billing and revenue cycle end to end, from claim submission through payment.
Before SFS, billing was entirely paper-based: bills were physically prepared and sent out, brokers and insurers had to manually upload and queue them, and processing added more time on top — a cycle that stretched toward one to two months per claim. SFS moved the whole process electronic: claims are submitted digitally, tracked, and followed through insurance processing to payment.
